Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh cranberries sorted and rinsed
  • 1 cup raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 2 honeycrisp apples tart peeled and diced
  • ½ cup orange marmalade

Instructions

  1. Gather fresh cranberries, fresh or frozen raspberries, Honeycrisp apples (or your favorite apple), orange marmalade, and a bit of cane sugar.

  2. Toss all of the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade.  Pulse on and off until relish is a chunky consistency.  For a smoother consistency, just pulse a little longer.

Recipe Notes

Store the relish in a container with a lid.  It tastes best when enjoyed within a day or so, but it will keep fresh in the refrigerator for up to a week.

To freeze:  Transfer the cranberry orange relish to an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 2 months.  Thaw the container in the refrigerator overnight before serving cold.
